My Biography

My name is Lyudmyla. I am from Ukraine, but I was born in Russia. My mother and sister live in Russia. Russia has a beautiful rocks and forests. Ukraine has a big black sea and many fruits and vegetables.

I got married in 1967. My husband was Ukrainian because we moved to live in his homeland. in Ukraine I worked as a head of a kitchen shop for many years.

My daughter and her family have been in Canada for 16 years. I have lived in Canada for 6 years. I live alone in a senior apartment since 2014.

I have two grandsons. First grandson is 21 years old, he graduated from university and got a degree in bachelor. My secound grandson does very good in school. I'm proud of my grandsons. I help my daughters house by cleaning it, washing it and cooking, because she goes to work very early and comes back home late.

My family also loves to celebrate all the holidays in Canada. I love Canada, because Canada has many lakes and beautiful nature. Canada has a peaceful, safe and multi-ethnic country. My plans for the future is to study English.
