               MY BIOGRAPHY
My name is ishrat Fatima. I was born in Peshawar Pakistan. I have two brothers and two sisters. I was 9 years old when my father passed away. My mother took care of us.

I started my school in 1983. I remember that on the first day of I ran away from school and the guard caught me and said go back to school.

I got married in 2006. My first baby was born in Pakistan in 2007.

I moved to Canada in 2008. My husband sponsored me. My second baby was born in Canada in 2011. We bought a house in Milton 4 years ago. I like to living in Canada.                                

I joined the ESL classes to improve my English. My teachers help me a lot. And within 7 months l passed my citizenship and G1 test. This all credit goes to my teachers and my loving husband.

My favourite colours are black and white. My hobbies are cooking and watching TV in my free time.

My name is Vandana.  I am from India. I was born in India 1982.I have three brothers and 2 sisters. I am the youngest in the family. Very body used love me.



When I was three years old my mother died. We had no body to look after us.



When I was sixteen years old my father was very strict. He was saying don't go out side alon.



I came to Canada in 2007.I had no friends in Canada. We don't know where should we go it was a very difficult time.


Now we are more comfortable than before. Very thing has settled down. We are happy and enjoy living in Canada.

Jaime Biography

My name is Jaime, I was born August 1948, in Bogota Colombia S.A. My father Jorge, my mother Isabel always lived in Colombia, I had a happy and calm childhood.

I studied in Cervantes and Calasanz school and finished high school in 1966 then started in  National University to study Veterinarian medicine up to 1973. I started work part time since 1967 in my family farm. I got married to Amparo in 1973 and continued to work primarily with cattle.
we have two daughters Carolina and Elsa, at this time they have two kids each.

Since 2011 we have been Permanent Resident in Canada and we are very happy, learning English with a excellent teacher . I'm thinking of improving my language and in the future I'll be able to speak fluently and learn more interesting things of this country.

My Biography

Hello,my name is Nadia Naeem ,I am from Karachi,Pakistan.I was born on October,15,1975.Also I'm the youngest in my family,I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

When I was a child I liked to play games with my friends and family, My favourite subject was science and Art,My favourite sports is tennis and skipping as a child I was Quite and shy.

I got married to my husband Naeem Mohammad on February,5,2001.Im a house wife,I have 3 kids:Nayalash,Neha ,Namaa.

I arrived to Canada April,2002 from Pakistan.I made a lot of new friends and I had lots of fun. My biggest accomplishment is when I got my citizenship also whenI got my G1 and G2 license.

Now I am currently taking English classes to improve my English. In the future I want to pass my G licenses and speek fluent English  and be more confident in my life.

My name is Asia Ismael. I am from Iraq I have been living in Canada since 2011. I have 7 children and I love them very much. All of them are in school.

 In Iraq my husband and I were working ,but here we don't work because we are in E S L  class . MY BIOGRAPHY

Hi I'm Maria, I was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico in 1972, I have 3 brothers, I lived with my parents until I got married.

When I was a child I took ballet lessons and made craft in 3D.

When I finished my studies in college as a computer technician, I worked for 12 years as an accounting assistant in the same company. I got married in July 1997, I have 3 children, Pablo 16, Joaquin 12 who were born in Mexico and Abraham 7, he was born here in Milton. My favorite hobby is making craft and my free time I like to watch movies and read books, I like almost all sports, my favorite is the American Football and Baseball. Green is my favorite colour, I love the fall and taking pictures.

I came to Canada in September 2006, because my husband was offered a job, we lived in hotel for a month and then we rented a house for 4 years, in June 2010 we bought a house and that is where we now live. I had temporary job for 4 weeks as a part time kitchen assistant. I started taking ESL classes in Dic. 2014 to learn how to speak English well.

I'm taking |English classes now and will soon because a Canadian Citizen. This summer I going to visit my parents in Mexico.

                  My Name is Alaa Sobih. I'm from Palestine. I was born in United Arab Emirates in 1974. I have two brothers and four sisters’.

 I spent most of my childhood in Abu Dhabi. I graduated from Al Mutnabee high school. I had the opportunity to go to college. I have my Diploma in nursing from Sanaa University.

I worked as a nurse in (SKMC) Hospital in 1996.I was assigned in Rehabilitation ward. It was difficult in the beginning, then I got used to it. In 2004 I got married now I have four children.

 
In July 2015 I immigrated to Canada. My main reason for immigration is looking for a better life.

       My name is Lyudmyla.  I am from Ukraine. I was born in Russia.   When I was 12 years old my family moved to Ukraine.

       After University, I started work in TV.  I was a TV producer.   I was producing news and musical programs, different shows when the " Revolution" came.

        I am married .  I have a daughter and a son.  My  family immigrated  to Canada in 2010 . We are very happy to live in Canada because  it is a very safe country.

    

        I have a hobby . I like dogs . I am a judge at the Dog Show.  I was working at the Dog Show every weekend when I lived in Ukraine.

           My favourite colour is pink. I like sea food.      I like to read scientific books in my free-time.

I am taking  ESL class, because  I want to improve my English level.

           My favourite sport is Track and Field . I was the winner and won several "Gold medals" at competitions when I was younger.

Hi, my name is Afrah, I'm from Iraq, Baghdad. I have 4 brothers and I'm the youngest. I'm the " pampered only daughter ".

Before I missed having a sister, but now I have 3 daughters and I feel like they are my sisters.

I studied and got married in Baghdad. I worked as a teacher back in Iraq. I teached Arabic, mathematics and science.

I like Canada, I came here because it's safe and it provides a better life for my family.

My Biography

My name is Amparo. I was born in Bogotá, It is the Capital of Colombia. Colombia is a country located in South  America.

I am the fifth of eight siblings. We were four girls and four boys. Two of then were twins. By the time I was born my mon did  not work outside the home. She was a stay at home mon. She was a wonderful mon. She gave us a lot knowledge about life. I always remenbed her as an axample for my life.

About my father, He was a hard working man. He used to have his own business, so he was able to spend a lot time with us. He is my mentor, when I have to make some decisions.

I want to tell something about my three sisters and my four brothers, two of them died  when they were young and the other two had their own business. My sisters are stay at home mons. All of us have a wonderful relationship, with all their families, When we have the opportunity to be together, we enjoy every second.

About myself, I studied with nuns and as soon as I finished High School my parents sent me to Ingland to learn English, as well as my three sisters.

When I came back to my country from England, I helped my father in his office and a year late I got married. I can say that I have a nice family. I have two daughters, two sons in law and four wonderful grand-childrem.

I am happy because I was able to raise our two daughters as I was a stay at home mon. It was possible as my spouse has his own business. He is a Veterarian. Also I am very proud of myself ,because I helped my husband in his job. I have learned many things about animals and all related to them.

Nowadays our young daughter helps us a lot in Colombia,  she studied Zootecnics

Right now I can have a relaxing life. I am thankful to life, as I can spend many months in Canada, learning a lot of things and be able to get more knowledge.

With my example I want to teach my family that life  is great and you can get all that you want, being an honest person and a hard working women.

My name is Yasmin,I,m from Pakistan. I came to Canada on  December ,3rd 2014. The reason I came here was for  my children to have good education and a bright future.I have four children three dauthers and one son.

I used to teach grade school in Pakistan about  two decades ago , but I stopped when I got married and just taught my kids.

Now that they are mostly grown up, I would like to have a job here to keep myself busy and learn new things. I'm a very creative person and I like to do sew, knit, decorate  and do various  crafts.

MY BIOGRAPHY JOANNA KANG

My name is Joanna, I'm from China. I spend my childhood and teenage time in there. When I finished my university programs, I got a job in the government office for education. My parents wanted me to have a quiet life, but I liked a new challenge, after three years I gave it up then tried to do business. Finally, I had my own company. I knew when I left my first job my parents would be very angry. But they have always supported me.

I came to Canada two and half years ago. I like living here now. I only have one daughter. She is living in China now, but this summer she is coming to stay with me. I really love and miss her. She is a good and smart girl. She likes studying. She was drawing and playing piano very well. She like going to the park to draw pictures after school. Once she learns new melody, she could play it for me. I wish and pray for her to have a good life.

Since this February I have been learning English in ESL, we have a very good and nice teacher, I was learning a lot of knowledge about English and Canada.

I was thinking when I can speak English really well, I will try to start a small business in Canada. Now I am still looking for chance and a good project, I hope one day I can be successful.

More than 2000 yers ago, Li Bing(250-200BC)， as a local governor of the Shu State, designed this water control and irrigation dam and organized thousands of local people to complete the project to check the Mingjiang River.For many years the river,flooded the Chengdu agricultural area and local farmers suffered a lot from the water disaster. Due to the success of the project, the dam automatically diverts the Mingjiang River and channels it into irrigation canals. For many years the dam has continued to make the most of the water conservancy works。

MY BIOGRAPHY___Dalson Zhou

I'm Dalson from China. I had worked as an teacher in a university of Hefei, in China. I immigrated to Canada five years ago. Everything was strange for me when I was a newcomer. Canadians are very kind and friendly and there is fresh air, clear water, blue sky and green forests in Canada. I like Canada.

I have two children, one girl and one boy. My daughter has two daughters, Sherry and Cindy. They are living in the U.S. My son has one daughter named Jane and one son called Charlie. They are living in Mississauga. Sherry, who is 15 years old, is the oldest grandchild and Charlie is the youngest in my family. Charlie is very cute. Sherry is very smart. When she was 8 years old, she often beat me in the puzzle games. One day, Sherry and I went to a park to fly a kite. We needed to know the wind direction for running against the wind. She put a finger in her mouth for wetting it then held it in the air in order to test the direction of the breeze. She told me that skill was from a book. I'm never happier than I play with my grandchildren.

I have to try my best to do what I need to do so that I could have better life. I got my driver license two years ago. I have to study English for conversation with others. I'm studying English in an ESL class now. I have kept studying English for many years although it is difficult for me. Two years ago, I had to go to school on foot. One day, it was extremely cold. The air felt like ice as it scraped the back of my throat, so I nearly lost my breath, but I went to my class on time. Now I can not only write in English, but also speak English. My life is very interesting and happy in Canada.

My Biography

My name is Ki Ok Kim. I was born in South Korea, in 1947. When I was four years old, South Korea and North Korea were at war. During this time both my parents passed away. My grandmother took care of me. However, she was very mean to me. I am an only child and during my childhood i was very shy.

When I got married I was 23 years old. I had three sons and watched them all get married, now I have three granddaughters and three grandsons. My first job was selling clothes. I was working with my husband.

I have been in Canada since 2008 because my husband passed away then my older son sponsored me. I live with my son's family. Now we are a family of five.

Canada is a very safe country and I really like Canada.

My hope for my future in Canada is to be with my family, be healthy and to be happy. I hope to improve my English soon so I can live in Canada comfortably.

My Biography

My name is Nevin. I was born in Mansoura, a city in Egypt, but I lived in Alexandria, the second-biggest city. Alexandria is located on the Mediterranean Sea, there were many wonderful places to visit.

I have four siblings. I am the oldest one. I have one sister and one brother living in Canada with their families. The other two sisters and my mum are still living in Alexandria. My dad passed away in 1999. We had a good relationship. Last summer we gathered in Canada with many of our cousins whom lived in Canada and U.S.

In my home country,  I worked as a superintendent of chemistry. My job was evaluating the education inspectors and teachers. I got married in 1977. My husband passed away in 2010. He was smart, honest and dependable. I have very wonderful memories.

I came to Canada in December, 2013 to live with my daughter . I have two children one boy and one girl, both of them are married. Each of them have two kids one boy and one girl. I am the grandmother of four grandchildren. 

Canada is a good country because it's clean and safe. I don't want to get a job here, but I want to be a volunteer.

My lovely hobbies are swimming and cooking. I love walking if I have free time and the weather is good. My favorite food is pasta, cheese, and meat. My favorite color is blue.
I am learning in the ESL class to improve my language to be able to communicate with all.
