Biography

My name is Ki Ok Kim. I was born in South Korea in 1947. I was four years old, South Korea and North Korea wear at war. At this time, my parents passed away. During my childhood, I was very shy and quiet. My grandparents took care of me.

Four years after I graduated highschool, I got married. I have three sons, they are all married. Now I have three granddaughters and three grandsons. My first job was selling clothes, I was working with my husband.

I have been living in Canada since 2008 because my husband passed away and my oldest son sponsored me. I live with my son's family. They are great people. Everyone is hard working. My youngest grandson is going to go to Waterloo university and my oldest grandson is going to Humber college. I am so happy and proud because when I came to Canada they were just four years old.

Canada is a very safe and good country, I really like Canada.

My hope for my future in Canada is to be with my family to be healthy and to be happy.
I hope to improve my English soon, so I can live Canada comfortably.
