Information about Canada's Taxation System
Today we had an intro to Canada's Tax system. We'll continue talking about taxes and, in particular, your Tax Return, which must be filed by April 30, 2019.
Some people feel like they are paying through the nose for taxes in Canada but most accept that yes, there are a lot of taxes, but we get free public education, healthcare and good infrastructure as well as policing, fire and emergency services, and finally, a fair and democratic government and judicial system.
Are we getting a good bang for our buck (good value for our money) do you think? Make a comment on THIS POST.

DeletePaying money through the nose means that you are paying excessive amount of something like in-come tax, its hard to take money out from your pocket, consider 48% of your income goes to income tax, some time your heart stop breathing, but once you are confident that the money what you will pay as tax will be good bang for our buck, means its beneficial for us, you will getting high quality of Health care, getting good public education, good infrastructure as well as policing , fire and emergency services, and finally, a fair and democratic government and judicial system. etc......
ReplyDeleteAre you loaded Mohammad? Because 48% tax is a lot! :D

ReplyDeleteWe moved here two years ago so I don’t have that much idea either we are getting good bang for the money or not. However, we are getting free education, free health facilities and municipal services so I think so far so good. I am confirdnet that system is so much transparent so I am glad about it.
Nice Ms. Unknown. In the next few years you will see how much value you get for your taxes. Definitely worth moving here!
DeleteI'm glad for you! What a nice, so far so good!
Deletees we get many services, but sometimes we feel that we pay through the nose. Even if we get a good bang for our buck, still it depends on how much money we get every month.
ReplyDeleteYes - it does seem like a lot of taxes, but we get a lot in return :)_
DeleteAs our accountant said, "we'll spend all money weather we get it during the year or we get it as a refund tax."
DeleteWhen I came to Canada I though we were paying through the nose for our taxes, but once I saw the benefit of them I think we get a good bang for our bucks.
ReplyDeleteYes- it does take time to realize all the benefits :)

ReplyDeleteWhen you taught us about Taxes in Canada yesterday, I understood that there are almost 11 different Taxes in this country. Some of them are provincial, municipals or federal taxes. Despite they are through the nose , but it's a good way for improves the living conditions residents of Canada.
