Have you ever...

Have you ever blown your tax refund on something ridiculous that you regretted?
....forgotten to pay a bill or lost track of your expenses?
...felt loaded...until you got to Canada? (Haha) then felt very very broke and strapped for cash and started penny pinching because life in Canada is so expensive?
...stuck to a diet or budget or new routine and felt good about yourself?

I'd like you to write about one of these - and start with either:  "yes I have...." or  "No I haven't but...."
And then write us a short story about it. Your classmates will be reading your story and commenting on it.
Reminders:
1. Be careful with using the expressions correctly in the sentence.
2. Remember to write a structured paragraph that has an intro to explain the context of the story, the details of what happened, and the conclusion (what you learned to never to again or learned to always do etc.)

  2. We're supposed to guarantee our future. For this I always want to keep good balance in my account. I would like to squrriel away as much money as I can for retiretment and pinch pennies when I am younger.
As mentioned, your RRSP and TFSA are definitely the means of investment you can use to invest in various assets. So Which do I evaluate and invest in the best pension plan in Canada?

  3. Until we moved to Canada, this is our family challenge to stick with the budget, however, we never forgot to pay any bill or any installment ever as we pay thru e-billing so always get reminder for every payment on email. There is no doubt that when we lived in Saudi Arabia we felt loaded and we enjoyed spending on shopping, dining out, inviting guests at our place and arranging lavish dinners or lunches for them and even despite we had lot of savings. But, here in Canada its other way around and hard to maintain balance between spending and earning.
